For over 20 years in Delaware County, one of the largest counties in Pennsylvania, he has earned a reputation as one of the most competent and skillful courtroom lawyers in Southeastern Pennsylvania. His diversified practice has brought him to the Bar of the Court to defend and prosecute Civil, Commercial, and Criminal matters, as well as any type of estate or trust related dispute. He also has extensive experience in the negotiation and preparation of contracts for commercial clients and estate planning for individual clients.
Earlier in his career, Dennis served as a full time law clerk for two years in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. While in Law School at Temple University, he worked full time for the City of Philadelphia in its Collections Department preparing cases against delinquent taxpayers and then worked for the U. S. Government in the General Accounting Office as an Adjudicator. Since 1978 he has also served as a part time law clerk in the Orphans Court in Delaware County advising three different Common Pleas Court President Judges in estate, trust and adoption matters pending before that Court.
He was previously a member of the faculty at Widener University where he taught both “Introduction to Law” and “Litigation” for seven years.
Dennis earned his J. D. at Temple University and earned two B. A. degrees at the Pennsylvania State University, one in Labor-Management Relations and one in Political Science.
Dennis is presently a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Delaware County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and all Pennsylvania Courts where he represents numerous clients at the trial court and appellate levels.
Dennis is presently an active member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania and Delaware County Associations of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Orphans Court Rules Committee and the Education Committee. He has planned and led numerous seminars for his colleagues in the Delaware County Bar Association and for various community organizations.
